Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park boasts spectacular geysers, hot springs, waterfalls, impressive canyons, lush forests, alpine rivers and a number of unique geological wonders that are exclusive to this area. Millions of people visit this park each year to see Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Prismatic Spring, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Lamar Valley and a variety of wildlife including elk, bison, wolves, and bears. Glacier National Park

Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area

This beautiful location can be found on the border of Wyoming and Montana and features mountains, forests, upland prairies, valleys, deep canyons, lakes, rivers, and wetlands. Bighorn Canyon is a hidden gem that offers visitors some peace and quiet while they appreciate the great outdoors. Apart from the great sights, this is a fantastic place for hiking, fishing, boating, camping, and wildlife viewing.

Flathead Lake

Flathead Lake is the biggest natural lake in the Western United States (west of the Mississippi) and features 160 miles of shoreline. The clear, glistening water is surrounded by two impressive mountain ranges, the Swan and Mission, and there are a number of recreational activities available on and around the water including boating, swimming, camping, hiking and fishing. Wild Horse Island is the largest island on the lake and also happens to be a beautiful state park that is well-known for its wildlife. Animal lovers will enjoy searching for wild horses, bighorn sheep, bald eagles, songbirds, and falcons.

Beartooth Highway

Beartooth Highway is considered one of the most scenic drives in the world. This 70-mile route passes through the Beartooth Mountain Range and offers a variety of stops along the way to take in the beautiful mountain views and explore waterfalls, clear lakes, and valleys. Visitors have endless opportunities for hiking and camping on this route including the Hellroaring Plateau Trail and the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. This scenic byway reaches elevations of nearly 11,000 feet which leads to big time snow in the winter so it’s best to take on this drive during the summer months.
