Visitors have endless opportunities for hiking and camping on this route including the Hellroaring Plateau Trail and the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. This scenic byway reaches elevations of nearly 11,000 feet which leads to big time snow in the winter so it’s best to take on this drive during the summer months.
