Today is National Pancake Day! Ready to celebrate this delicious holiday in the great outdoors? Here are 3 amazing campfire pancake recipes you need to try today (and everyday, because pancakes never get old).

Mason Jar Pancakes

If you’re a pancake purist, these classic pancakes are for you. What makes these great? You prepare the majority of the ingredients at home in mason jars (or other containers with tight-fitting lids) so you can quickly and easily make them at the campsite.

What You Need:
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 large eggs separated
2 cups + 1 tablespoon buttermilk
Vegetable oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Maple syrup

You are going to put together 3 mason jars before you leave home

Jar 1:
Flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda.

Jar 2:
Eggs whites

Jar 3:
Eggs yolks & buttermilk (butter will be added here after it’s melted)

What You Need:
3 1/2 cups CHOW All-Purpose Baking Mix
2 cups beer (light lager)
1/2 cup currants
1/2 cup nuts
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil + more for cooking
Maple syrup & butter

What You Need:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup powdered milk + 1 cup water or milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 teaspoons ghee (or butter)
1 egg
2 ripe peaches (pits removed and sliced in half)
1/4 cup chopped pecans
